2. Problem Statement

The Environmental Studies Landscaping Clinic will perform a quantitative and qualitative analysis of the social, environmental, and economic aspects of Harvey Mudd College's current landscape design. Subsequently, alternative landscaping choices will be examined with an emphasis on resource conservation, community appeal, environmental educational value, and reduced maintenance cost. The team will present its findings and recommendations to Harvey Mudd College and Three Valleys Municipal Water District at the end of the school year.
